Briarhills Swimming Pool Opening

The Briarhills Swimming Pool is officially opening this weekend and will be open every Saturday and Sunday throughout May. The weekend operating hours will be from 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. 
Residents will need their PIN # + access card to enter the pool gate during operational hours. Your access cards never expire and do not need renewal.  
If you've forgotten your PIN, the lifeguards can look it up for you. 
If you've misplaced your access card and need a replacement, please contact our management company, Graham Management, for assistance. 
As the swim season kicks off, all drivers are asked to be extra cautious and watch for children walking or biking to the pool. All parents are reminded to closely supervise young children, particularly when crossing the intersections of Briarhills Parkway and Forest Home.

Summer is right around the corner and it is is time to get ready for another swim season. 
  • Returning Families: Registration begins March 25th. Please watch your inbox for
    an upcoming email.
  • New families: Registration begins April 1st. New swimmers are encouraged to
    register early, as spaces fill quickly.

    The 2026 Dolphins swim season will run from May 4th through June 29th.

Pool and Amenities News

Ammenities Access
Access to the pool, tennis courts and community center is by access key card which will allows electronic access to all the facilities. Up to 2 cards will be issued per property address. Property owners will need to complete an Access Key registration form and show proof of residency by providing either a driver's license or utility bill. Please review the 2022 BPOA Amenities Information Guide prior to obtaining your key card. Access cards can be picked up from Andjela Tomic at our management company. It is important that you email Andjela (andjelat@grahammanagementhouston.com) to arrange card pick up. Also, please make sure you have completed an Access Key Registration form before picking up your cards.
RENTERS MUST PROVIDE WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION (LETTER OR EMAIL) FROM THE HOMEOWNER AUTHORIZING THE RENTER TO OBTAIN CARDS.
 
Instructions for Using Your Access Card:
The card reader is sensitive and will pick up your card if you hold it close to the reader while you are inputting your PIN. Please keep your card down and away from the reader until you get to step 3.
1) Enter the PIN that was assigned to you
2) Press the # symbol
3) Hold your card up to the card reader and the gate/door will electronically unlock.
 
* If the user does not follow the instructions in order, the gate/door will not open.
 
Swimwear & Changing Policy 
In keeping with a family-friendly environment, overly revealing swimwear, transparent swimwear and swimwear bottoms such as thongs or t-backs are not permitted at the Briarhills Swimming pool. 
Additionally, for the comfort and privacy of all residents, we kindly request that everyone, including children, change using the restrooms and the private bathroom stalls provided. Changing in common areas around the pool is not permitted.
For parents who wish to accompany children of the opposite sex into the restroom, we would like to remind you that there is a family restroom conveniently located just outside the pool gate and beside the lifeguard window. We encourage you to utilize this restroom to assist your children as needed.  
Please note that our lifeguards will be enforcing this policy at their discretion, and we ask that all residents comply promptly if requested to do so. Please make sure all family members and guests accompanying you to the pool are aware of this swimwear & changing policy.
Thank you for your help to ensure that our community amenities remain enjoyable spaces for all families. 
 
2025 Pool Season Details

A friendly reminder to our drivers: Please be extra cautious and watch out for children walking and biking to the pool. 
And to our parents: Please stay with and closely supervise young children, especially when crossing at the intersections of Briarhills Parkway and Forest Home.
 
 
Tennis Courts
The gate to the tennis courts must remain closed at all times. Please do not prop the gate open. When the gate is propped open, the access control system sends many alerts. There have also been incidents of the gate being left open overnight when no players are playing. If you see the gate propped open, please kindly close it and let the players know in case they did not receive this message.
Please be sure to push the gate all the way closed and ensure that the lock has engaged before leaving the courts. Only residents of Briarhills POA, Briarhills HOA, and Terraces on Memorial are allowed to use the tennis courts. Please report any trespassers to the Constables by calling them at 281-463-6666. 
 
In addition, please follow all of the tennis court rules as listed in the BPOA Amenities Information Guide at all times. The following items may not be brought into the tennis facility: pets, prepared food, glass or any breakable
container, skates, roller blades, skateboards, bicycles, scooters, soccer balls, or any other play equipment not associated with tennis. Children are not permitted on the courts unless they are actively playing tennis.
 
As a reminder, the tennis courts are ONLY TO BE USED FOR TENNIS AND PICKLEBALL. Soccer, volleyball, skateboards, roller skates, etc. are never allowed on the tennis courts. Thank you for your cooperation.
 
Reservations are limited to ONE TENNIS COURT AT A TIME, for a maximum of 90 minutes between 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. Reserving both tennis courts for the same time slot is not allowed.
Recycling Guidelines

Recycling material is picked up on Fridays by GFL Environmental, our trash and recycling company. Please make sure your recycling bins are at the curb by 7.00am. All types of plastics with numbers 1 to 7, cardboard and paper of all types and metal containers of all types are all acceptable. Please ensure containers, both plastic and metal, are clean and have been rinsed out.
Please do not put out your recycling bins until either the night before or the morning of pick up.
 
NOT ACCEPTABLE - glass, plastic bags, styrofoam, pizza boxes and other paper and cardboard that is stained with food or grease. Also, no metal hangers
 
Glass of all types can be dropped off at the recycling facility on Brittmoore Road (on the corner of Brittmoore Road and Westview Drive). The hours of operation are 6.00am to 6.00pm Monday thru' Friday, 7.00am to 2.00pm Saturday, closed on Sunday.  Entry to the facility is on Westview Drive. The facility accepts all items picked up by GFL Environmental, our recycling company plus glass of all types. Please remove any metal caps, lids, etc. from glass containers before dropping them off.

Energy Corridor Farmers Market Update

The Energy Corridor Farmers Market is returning. Starting on February 17, Your Neighborhood Farmer's Market will be hosting the Energy Corridor’s farmers market every 3rd Saturday of the month from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 1520 Eldridge Pkwy, at the corner of Eldridge and Briar Forest.
